The Pointy Field Faust Fest 15-16 September 2007

Ever want to be one of those people who look back and say “I was there at the beginning, before it got big and commercial.” Well at the Pointy Field Faust Fest you’ll never be one of them, because it will never be commercial, and the beautiful lakeside location is capable of housing no more than 600 people. It’s cosy but wild, and it will be the best thing you do this summer. Come and feel the sense of togetherness that the big festivals of today can only reminisce about! This is Pointy Field’s second year and it’s going to be a corker!

Pointy Field creates a stage for musicians [of all styles] who wish to contribute to a great and memorable event, put on for people who know what one is. What’s more…however hedonistic you decide to make your weekend, you can rest assured that all of the profits go to a good cause – helping the organisers (Faustuss International) with their projects in Kenya - aiming to improve the quality of life for traditional musicians across Kenya.

Tickets cost £30 for two nights camping, which in a stunning location like this is a bargain even before you consider the entertainment and the fact that you can swim in the lake! This one is for those of you who want a real weekend retreat, and we welcome punters of all ages (children 14and under get in free but must be supervised).
