Lounge are probably best known locally for their acoustic duo sets. Origanally created whilst travelling Australia by Mark and Lee. After a number of successful gigs down under they decided to bring the buzz back to their hometown bournemouth.

If reluctantly asked to describe our sound then i guess its close to Star Sailor/Turin Breaks with a dash of country....

Since the turn of 2006 we have added new arrivals bassist Glen and drummer Scott after various comments from friends and fans that lounge would benifit not only with volume and groove but a unique, genuine sound that is fresh and exciting for us all.

Only a couple of gigs have been played as a full band and already the music scene, friends and fans are feeding us positive comments which have encoraged us no end. Although Lounge intend to push the full band to its limits Mark and Lee are still keen to play their acoustic material just as much.
